Award of Excellence for an Outstanding Team

Three HAI consultants received an award for “Foreign Expert Excellence” from the Chinese Government last month in recognition of their work on the Chongqing Poverty Alleviation Project (CCPAP) in China.

The Project Coordinating Committee presented the awards to the Team Leader, Frank Roseby, the Rural Roads Engineer, Mark Moran and the International Accountant, Jane Toh.

An Australian Government funded project, the aim of CCPAP was to reduce poverty through sustainable increases in diversified rural household cash incomes. The team worked with the local communities in 15 townships in each of Chongqing Province’s counties to construct rural roads and village water supply systems and to identify means for income generation and diversification. Participatory planning processes underpinned all activities, contributing to the overall success of the project.

HAI congratulates the CCPAP team members on this well deserved recognition of their efforts and achievements.
