Ballarat North / Creswick Reclaimed Water Project

Client – Thames Water

Hassall & Associates were engaged by Thames Water to devise, develop (including preliminary design) and cost options for the reuse of reclaimed water from the Ballarat North and Creswick sewerage treatment plants as part of the major BOOT Tender ($20–$30M).

This involved extensive farmer (and family) consultation, negotiation and liaison, water, salinity and nutrient modelling, major irrigation scheme and infrastructure design and commercial project costing, all in a very short time frame.
