AGO CoAG Emissions Intensity Project

Client : The Department of Environment and Heritage & Australian Greenhouse Office

The aim of this project was to provide the AGO with an analysis of the logic behind State and Federal Government and key industry groups’ strategic plans in relation to greenhouse gas emissions and agriculture.  The project involved conducting interviews with each of the organisations and discussing their decision-making processes behind their greenhouse strategic planning documents.  The final report will be used to inform the work of the Department in reporting through the CLAN Working Group to the Natural Resource Management Ministerial Council on the potential for development of emissions intensity benchmarks in agriculture and associated environmental management systems.
