National Sheep Study

Client – DAFF

This project involved the collation, mapping and description of historical and recent data, to define the structure and dynamics within the Australian Sheep flock.  Eleven sheep production zones were analysed across Australia, following consultations with industry stakeholders.

The prime use of this data will be its use by the Officers of the Chief Veterinary Officer (OCVO) within the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) to model future disease outbreaks.
