ExperienceMaking Successful Investments in NRM Practice ChangeClient - Land & Water Australia This is a research and skills building project that runs until May 2010 working in close collaboration with 10 regional NRM bodies across Australia. The participating regions will gain direct benefit from being involved in the project. The aim of this project is to improve the ability of regional NRM bodies to monitor and evaluate practice change resulting from their investments and to apply the resulting learnings to future planning and investment. As part of this project, Hassall & Associates will analyse the factors affecting practice adoption and motivation for change. There are three key stages: Phase 1) Establishment (Apr – Oct 2006) Selection and commitment of regions, refinement of project approaches and key issues Phase 2) Testing the tools, mentoring and support (Jul 2006 – Dec 2009) Working with the regional bodies in an action learning, supportive approach Phase 3) Review and extension (continuous until May 2010) Identify and communicate the relevance to other regions
