AGO Forest Sinks Workshops

The aim of this project is to improve understanding of the implications of climate change for regional NRM and develop approaches that will help natural resource managers to incorporate climate change responses in regional NRM planning and investment. 

Hassall & Associates are coordinating a team of experts to undertake a regional workshop process to help regional NRM stakeholders identify vulnerable elements of their socio-economic and natural resource systems.  Assessment of vulnerability will take into account sensitivity and exposure of systems to climate change, potential impacts and existing and potential adaptive capacity.  Implications of climate change vulnerability and risk for NRM planning will be explored.
