Value Proposition (GHD-Hassall)

GHD Hassall was established in early 2008 following the purchase of Hassall & Associates.  GHD Hassall combines Hassall & Associates Australian Division’s expertise in agriculture and environmental management with GHD’s technical depth and network of regional offices to provide practical solutions at both policy and operational levels across Australia. 

GHD Hassall will focus on providing high quality services to a diverse range of clients in order to improve the sustainable management of natural resources, effectiveness of industry and government programs and sustainability and competitiveness of rural and regional Australia. 

GHD Hassall has a unique position, being grounded in agriculture yet well skilled in, and able to consider, broader natural resource management issues. Our networks are extensive and we can successfully communicate with farmers, researchers, investors, policy makers, politicians, conservationists and so on. Our successful project delivery results from being able to see issues from a range of perspectives, listen to what people are saying, assess options and then deliver so as to meet stakeholder needs at the same time.

Clients include Australian, State and Local Government, R&D Corporations, NRM bodies, farmers, community groups, indigenous organisations, private sector businesses, catchment authorities, financial institutions, commodity organisations, educational institutions and local government. 

GHD Hassall operates as three teams based out of Sydney, Dubbo and Canberra.
